The “RTD4EDC” project aims at developing recommendations for EC RTD&D policy to increase the share of renewables in Emerging and Developing Countries (EDC’s) with European technologies. This will be based on policy assessments, stakeholders opinions and analyses of best practises.
The RTD4EDC project is financed under the 6th Framework Programme for Research and Technological Development of the European Commission. |

H.C. Schneider MA

Until 1990 Hans Schneider (1960) conducted educational research and worked as a university lecturer in psychology. Since 1990 he is consultant within “CEA, consultants on energy and the environment”. Starting as a market researcher on energy-related behaviour, Hans becomes a policy consultant for both national & international clients. Key projects: large international projects in the field of European renewable energy policy, tradable green certificates and emissions trading and the development of a white certificate scheme for the Dutch government. Fields of expertise: energy- and climate change policy (mitigation & adaptation); systems for tradable allowances or credits; policy development and evaluation (both national and European); social science research methods, business development.
Current position: strategic consultant at CEA / business developer
(CEA B.V. will change its name in September 2007 into “BuildDesk Benelux BV”)
